Guided by our values of Respect, Commitment, Integrity, Equity, and Independence, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Coordinator to join our Ageing and Disability Services team in Gloucester, NSW.
This is a permanent part-time role of 30 hours per week - no nights or weekends
As the Nurse Coordinator, you will be central to delivering safe, high-quality and client-centred clinical care across BWNG's Ageing and Disability services.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing clinical governance and support best practice in nursing care.
* Providing direct nursing services to clients where required.
* Managing rostering for RNs, health staff and clients of BWNG
* Conducting comprehensive client assessments and developing individualised care plans.
* Monitoring, reviewing and updateing care plans to ensure they reflect changing needs and ensure services align with Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
* Providing ongoing mentoring and education to staff
What You'll Need:
* A Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
* Minimum 2 year's experience as a Registered Nurse.
* Strong skills in care planning, assessment, and clinical governance.
* The ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, clients, and families.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
* Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
* A National Criminal History Check (conducted in-house as part of the induction process)
