Responsibilities
* Lead design, coordination and delivery of endodontics teaching within DDS, DCD and continuing professional development programmes.
* Provide high-quality clinical supervision, ensuring safe, evidence-based endodontic care and appropriate multidisciplinary referral for patients.
* Develop and renew curriculum, assessment and evaluation approaches that enhance student capability and satisfaction in endodontics.
* Supervise, support and coordinate clinical educators, fostering reflective teaching practice and consistent, high-quality learning experiences.
* Engage in scholarly activity, partnerships and service that advance endodontic education and the School's strategic priorities.
Qualifications
* Hold, or be eligible for, specialist AHPRA registration in Endodontics without conditions affecting clinical supervision.
* Bring extensive contemporary clinical experience in Endodontics, including complex case management and multidisciplinary care.
* Demonstrate excellence in clinical and classroom teaching, curriculum design, assessment and constructive feedback within dental education.
* Lead teams and manage resources effectively, contributing to workforce planning and coordination of clinical educators.
* Communicate and negotiate confidently, building productive relationships with students, colleagues, industry and professional bodies.
* Possess, or be willing to obtain, a PhD, Working with Children Check and required radiation licence.
