About the Port of Hastings
The Port of Hastings is located on the shores of Western Port, approximately 70 kilometres south‐east of Melbourne. It is one of four major working commercial trading ports operating in Victoria, and has been operating for close to 60 years.
The Port of Hastings facilities include:
* Long Island Point jetty
* Crib Point jetty
* Stony Point jetty
* BlueScope Steel wharves
The Port of Hastings has also been selected by the Victorian Government as the location for the proposed Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal, a dedicated assembly port to support the construction of Australia's first offshore wind farms along the Victorian coast. The offshore wind industry presents an opportunity to open a new chapter in the history of the Port, one that will see the Port of Hastings at the heart of Victoria's drive to reach net zero emissions.
