This role will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of WSP's Mine Advisory team. You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.
What you'll do:
* Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of tailings and mine waste projects.
* Assisting with project scheduling, cost tracking, procurement, and reporting.
* Preparing technical documentation including scopes of work, design inputs, risk assessments, and progress reports.
* Participating in field investigations, site inspections, monitoring campaigns, and operational assessments.
* Helping manage stakeholder engagement with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal specialists.
* Ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with industry standards and best practice.
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and technical workflows.
About You
* Degree qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, Mining, Environmental) or a related discipline.
* 7+ years experience working in mine tailings- ideally with exposure to both a technical engineering position and project management.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
* A keen interest in mine tailings.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A team-oriented approach and willingness to learn from senior technical specialists.
* Ability to travel to site as required.
