A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead a team, based in a workshop, based in Bendigo. This role will have you overseeing both the internal workshop, plus an on-road team to exceed expectations. The position is part hands-on and part managing a team of Mechanics. This position requires the ability to manage a team of mechanics, while still working on vehicles and providing expert diagnostic abilities to your team. You will have the knowledge to understand faults with a large variety vehicles, or be proactive in gaining knowledge from others to identify the issue. You will also ensure that the on-road team is keeping up with their jobs and KPIs. You will have the knowledge to provide quotes to ensure that you will operate in a profitable manner, while still meeting all KPI’s. The position will require: A high level of mechanical knowledge The ability to manage a team Experience with Microsoft Office and other office programs will be highly regarded Strong Diagnostic abilities Ability to work in a high-pressure in a busy environment. Ability to grow the business The ability to produce great customer levels of satisfaction.
