About the Agency The Australian Digital Health Agency leads the national effort to digitally enable Australia's health system. We support the delivery of person-centred, connected healthcare through the development and adoption of digital health services and systems. Our work includes managing My Health Record, Electronic Prescriptions, and the My Health App, ensuring a healthier future for all Australians through connected healthcare. The key duties of the position include About the Role As Director, Privacy, you'll lead the Agency's privacy strategy and frameworks, ensuring compliance and setting the standard for best practice. Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll manage a high-performing, geographically dispersed team and oversee the Agency's Privacy Management Plan under the Australian Government Agencies Privacy Code. You'll provide expert advice on complex privacy matters, anticipate risks, and craft innovative solutions that influence decision-making at the highest level. Acting as Privacy Officer and supporting the General Counsel as Privacy Champion, you'll build strong partnerships-including with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner-while safeguarding Australians' health information in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
