About the Role We are seeking a skilled security professional to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting a hybrid Cisco & Check Point-based security solutions across a complex network infrastructure for a key public sector tenant.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of enterprise experience in networking.
Strong knowledge of MSP & enterprise networks and datacentres.
Expertise with enterprise routing protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VRF and MPLS.
Expertise in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Check Point Quantum Security Gateways.
Expertise in developing and managing policies using FortiOS.
Extensive understanding of macro and micro segmentation concepts.
Experience with Cisco secure networks, including implementation, management, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of Cisco ISE.
Experience with network management systems (BMC Entuity, SolarWinds, etc.)
Understanding of automation platforms (BMC TSNA, Ansible, AWX, Python, etc.)
Strong documentation & collaboration skills (as‑built, network diagrams using Microsoft Visio & draw.io, technical handover sessions to BAU team, etc).
Certification in Check Point technologies (e.g., CCSA, CCSE).
Experience in implementing Check Point firewalls within a Cisco SD‑Access environment.
Proficiency with Check Point Multi‑Domain System Management & Virtual System eXtension.
Experience with Cisco SD‑Access & Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC).
Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE).
