Network Engineering Expert
As a key member of our Communications Engineering team, you will lead the end-to-end engineering lifecycle of mission-critical communications networks with a strong focus on design, configuration, and integration of secure and highly available IP network solutions.
* Develop high-level and low-level design documentation, including architecture diagrams, network design reports, and integration procedures to ensure seamless network deployment.
* Configure, integrate, and test network equipment across multi-vendor platforms, primarily Cisco and Juniper routing and switching infrastructure to optimize network performance.
* Perform thorough site and factory acceptance testing, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, and network migration activities to guarantee network reliability.
* Lead fault isolation, network diagnostics, and root cause analysis across transport and access layers to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
* Ensure network designs comply with safety, security, and redundancy requirements, especially in rail and mission-critical environments to protect people and assets.
* Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to skills development and knowledge transfer across the engineering team to drive excellence.
* Produce technical documentation and implementation procedures in accordance with engineering standards and stakeholder requirements to facilitate effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
