The Role
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in shaping their experience within our allied health clinics. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional reception and administrative support.
This is a casual position with potential to develop into part-time for the right person. You will be working across. You will be required to work across two convenient locations, Singleton and Branxton, both of which are easily accessible by public transport, covering sick leave and annual leave of other team members as required.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver warm, professional and effective reception services
- Ensure every client feels welcomed, supported and valued
- Manage phone enquiries, bookings and schedule changes through our practice management software Nookal.
- Assist physiotherapists and allied health practitioners by keeping daily operations running smoothly
- Follow established procedures for invoicing and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Support general administrative tasks to enhance clinic efficiency
- Be an engaged, adaptable and reliable team player
About You
Experience in health administration is welcome but not essential as full training is provided. What matters most is your attitude and commitment to excellent client care.
You are someone who:
- Loves working with people and communicates clearly, warmly and professionally
- Has a friendly phone manner and a sense of humour
- Learns quickly and enjoys mastering new systems
- Has strong computer and organisational skills
- Works well in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail
- Shows initiative and is proactive in identifying what needs to be done
- Is professional, reliable, well-presented and trustworthy
- Holds a NSW driver’s licence and your own transport
Highly desirable:
- Certificate III/IV in Health Administration
- Previous experience in an Allied Health or Medical Reception role
- Experience with accounts receivable
- Experience with Nookal or similar practice management software

Our clinics in Singleton and Branxton serve the Hunter Valley region — around 50 minutes from Newcastle and 40 minutes from Maitland.
Singleton has a strong local community with thriving sports participation across football, netball, dance, CrossFit, tennis and more. Local industries include mining, defence, agriculture and the world-renowned Pokolbin wine region.
Clinic hours: Mon–Fri 8:30am–6:00pm, Sat 8:30am–12:30pm (Singleton only)
