This 6-month contract offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with Test Managers and Business SMEs, playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of critical applications. Familiarity with SCADA systems is essential
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to attend the office 3 times a week.
What You Will Do:
* Analyse business and technical requirements to design effective test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases.
* Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across complex software systems.
* Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools while collaborating with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Create and manage traceability matrices to verify requirements coverage during testing preparation and execution.
* Generate comprehensive test reports, quality metrics, and summary reports to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
* Proven experience as a Test Analyst with 5 plus years in complex system environments.
* ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Certification (CTFL) or a similar professional qualification.
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, frameworks, quality processes, and the defect management lifecycle.
* Familiarity with AEMS, SCADA systems, smart grid technologies, or energy trading platforms, alongside experience using tools like ALM, JIRA, and Xray.
