We're currently working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking a Float Legal Secretary to join their Adelaide office in a varied and dynamic support role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior legal support or administrative experience who enjoys variety in their day, building strong relationships across teams, and being a reliable go-to support person within the firm. Working closely with experienced legal secretaries, lawyers, and business services teams, you'll play an important role supporting periods of leave, overflow work, and day-to-day operations across the office. The Role | This is a hands-on and varied position where no two days will look the same. You'll gain exposure across multiple practice areas while supporting a collaborative and friendly legal support team. Preparing documents, dictation, scanning, photocopying, and electronic filing Managing billing processes and general administrative support Coordinating diaries, emails, and travel arrangements Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders professionally and efficiently Assisting with reception, office services, kitchen duties, and general office support during periods of leave or lunch coverage Providing overflow and leave coverage support to experienced legal secretaries across the firm About You | Previous legal secretarial or administrative experience A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities A genuine interest in building a long-term career within legal support The Team & Culture | You'll be joining a close-knit and highly supportive legal support team that genuinely values collaboration and teamwork.
