Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Transport Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Health Transport Services team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient non-emergency patient transport services throughout Tasmania.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting low-acuity patients requiring basic care and observation to, from, or between Department of Health facilities. You will work closely with the Patient Transport Dispatcher to provide seamless patient care and transportation services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* A current Driver's Licence
* Senior level first aid certificate (or equivalent)
* Demonstrated ability and capacity to undertake and successfully complete Certificate 3 in non-emergency patient transport
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other members of the healthcare team
