We are currently seeking a full time Apiarist /Beekeeper to join our family operation based at Bendigo Victoria.
This efficient and highly productive beekeeping business aims to maintain very strong hives to produce high yields from various flora sources throughout Victoria
This permanent position will involve all aspects of beekeeping and will be based on 38 hours per week.
You will need to be energetic, self motivated and be able to work as part of a team
The position may involve flexible hours in varying conditions including away from home if bee sites require
Ideally the person we are seeking to employ will have:
: Some experience in beekeeping and have a passion for bees and beekeeping or basic knowledge with the willingness and ability to be trained
:Have or be prepared to obtain Heavy Rigid Truck Licence and forklift licence
Be able to perform various roles including ;
Beehive care and management, assist in maintaining healthy and highly productive beehives
Extracting and operating extraction Plant, Shifting of Beehives,
Base salary will depend on the applicants level of experience and will be discussed at interview / screening
Pay: $73,200.00 - $77,000.00 per year
