Reporting directly to the Director-General, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership and oversee a diverse portfolio to ensure the successful implementation of the Department's and Government's reform agenda. Acting as a key interface between the department and the Minister's Office, you will deliver high quality, timely, and impartial advice to support the Government's priorities. Key responsibilities include: * Leading cross-agency collaboration and driving significant policy and strategic reforms. * Providing expert advice on cabinet and parliamentary matters, media engagement, and ministerial requirements. * Building and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and deliver on key priorities. * Championing a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Mentoring and guiding senior leaders and staff to build organisational capability while promoting diversity, inclusion, and the department's core values.
