Brunel International is seeking an experienced Travel Superintendent to join our team, specialising in FIFO operations in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage all travel arrangements for FIFO workforce operating in Papua New Guinea mine site.
* Plan, coordinate, and execute travel schedules for FIFO personnel in PNG.
* Liaise with airlines, travel agents, and accommodation providers to secure optimal arrangements.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and immigration requirements specific to PNG.
* Manage travel documentation and permits for personnel.
* Monitor travel budgets and report on travel activities.
* Respond promptly to travel disruptions or emergencies.
* Collaborate with HR and project management teams to align travel plans with operational needs.
Requirements
* Proven experience in travel coordination or superintendent roles within FIFO operations, preferably in PNG or similar remote locations.
* Strong understanding of Papua New Guinea's travel, immigration, and safety regulations.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
* Proficient in travel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Australian work rights or valid visa to work in PNG.
* Flexibility to work FIFO roster patterns.
* Relevant qualifications in logistics, travel management, or related fields are advantageous.
