Responsibilities
* Assist with the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services activities and complementary therapies for residents
* Coordinate individual and group activities and therapies
* Ensure recreational activities, therapies and documentation comply with Aged Care Standards and relevant Acts, legal and ethical standards
* Assist with PPT positions – Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (essential)
* Experience as a Lifestyle Services Assistant
* Knowledge of working with a range of cognitive and physical abilities
* Involvement in creating and implementing innovative programs to meet specific resident needs
* Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate etc.)
* Completed police check
* Free seasonal flu vaccination
* NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) – cost refunded on appointment
Legal & EEO Requirements
