Silverstone Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the Processing team at a well-established gold operation in the gold fields region.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring and direction to the electrical team
Oversee fixed-plant electrical maintenance and ensure statutory compliance
Support planning and scheduling of short- and long-term maintenance tasks
Lead and support shutdown planning, execution and post-review activities
Ensure accurate work order completion, labour capture and reporting in the CMMS
Work closely with Processing, Engineering and Contractors to meet availability targets
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance quality, cost efficiency and reliability
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and labour planning
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture across all work fronts
Requirements
WA Electrical Trade Qualification or Australian recognised Trade
Front Line Management Qualification
Previous experience supervising electrical teams in mining processing plants
High Voltage Switching qualification
Strong exposure to fixed-plant electrical systems and safe work practices
Experience with shutdowns, QA/QC and preventative maintenance programs
Proficiency with CMMS systems (Pronto)
Senior First Aid
C-Class Driver's Licence
Instrumentation experience
Good understanding of WA Mines Safety legislation
This role would suit a hands-on leader who enjoys supporting a positive team culture and taking ownership of fixed-plant electrical maintenance across a busy processing facility.
