Kulparri Tyres & Mechanical is a locally owned and operated business servicing Port Hedland and the wider Pilbara region. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to lead our team and ensure our workshop operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
This is a local Pilbara-based position, offering the opportunity to build a long-term career with a respected local business while working across a diverse range of vehicles and equipment supporting the transport, mining, and local industries.

About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will oversee daily workshop operations, manage staff and workflow, ensure jobs are completed efficiently, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day workshop operations
* Coordinate workflow and allocate jobs effectively
* Lead, mentor, and support workshop staff and technicians
* Ensure quality workmanship and efficient turnaround times
* Liaise with customers and fleet clients
* Manage maintenance schedules and fleet servicing requirements
* Monitor workshop productivity and safety compliance
* Assist with quoting, parts coordination, and job management
About You
* Previous experience in a Workshop Manager, Leading Hand, or Senior Supervisor role
* Strong mechanical background, with heavy vehicle experience highly regarded
* Experience with fleet maintenance and workshop management systems
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and perform in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
