Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Management Accountant to join a well‐established and growing organisation based in Bowen Hills. This is a hands‐on role suited to a technically strong and analytically driven finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and delivering meaningful insights to support business performance. This is a primarily office‐based role, with flexibility to work from home on an ad‐hoc basis when required. Conveniently located just a 6‐minute walk from Fortitude Valley train station, the organisation also offers free on‐site staff parking.
Key Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance across the business, including leading the management accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Preparing monthly management reports, including variance and performance analysis.
* Driving budgeting and forecasting processes, including rolling forecasts.
* Delivering financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions.
* Developing and enhancing reporting dashboards and insights for senior stakeholders.
* Partnering with operational and commercial teams to provide financial guidance.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems.
About You
* CA/CPA qualification (or working towards).
* Proven experience in a Senior Management Accountant or similar role.
* Strong Excel skills (advanced modelling, data manipulation, reporting).
* Experience delivering insights through financial analysis and reporting.
* Exposure to ERP systems and data‐driven environments.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* A proactive, solutions‐focused approach and strong commercial acumen.
