Uniting Kari Court is a welcoming, close-knit community located in St Ives, providing specialist dementia support to 55 residents across four households. Our Household Living approach brings the comfort of a family home to everyday life, empowering residents to live their day, their way.
About the Opportunity
Uniting Kari Court is seeking a highly organised and compassionate Administrator to join our aged care community on a full‐time, fixed‐term contract from mid‐July 2026 to mid‐February 2027.
Position: Full‐time, fixed‐term
Duration: 7 months
Location: St Ives
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including residents' families.
* Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure up‐to‐date rosters are accessible and manage day‐to‐day rostering.
* Organise meetings, schedule training sessions, and take minutes as required.
* Manage ordering of supplies and consumables.
* Securely scan, upload and file resident and staff documents in the SharePoint system.
* Process invoices promptly and accurately.
* Communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Assist residents with tasks such as room preparation, booking transport and arranging services.
* Foster community connections and promote Uniting services.
* Ensure clear, timely and effective communication while maintaining client privacy and confidentiality.
* Uphold client rights and privacy in line with Uniting's policies and relevant legislation.
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate has strong hands‐on experience with computer systems and is comfortable working across multiple platforms such as CRM, rostering software and WorkSmart Dynamics. The role also involves online ordering for laundry services and facility equipment/accessories.
* Experience in rostering is essential.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong problem‐solving abilities, able to negotiate, mediate and resolve conflicts effectively.
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
* Exceptional organisational and time‐management skills.
* Advanced computer proficiency, including Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office and client data management systems.
