What you will do:
We are looking for an experienced and energetic Commercial Business Development Manager to join the Finsure team in Sydney. Together with the national sales team and working closely with the Head of Commercial, you will be the face of the company (at a state level) and will have the ability to create and execute an effective sales strategy collaboratively. You must have the maturity and ability to work autonomously. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting Commercial Finance volume and forging strong relationships with current brokers.
You will be responsible for guiding brokers with your knowledge of our Commercial Lender panel. You will guide manage an existing portfolio of brokers and will leverage internal relationships to assist your brokers to place their transactions and help grow their portfolios and as a result the overall state performance. You will also support the broader sales team to encourage mortgage brokers to diversify their offering to include commercial lending.
What you will have:
* 3-5 years' business banking experience ideally as a BDM or Relationship Manager.
* Previous experience working with Commercial Lending brokers or in banking and financial services.
* Strong understanding of complex financials and corporate structures.
* Strong broker relationship network as well as a broker centric mindset.
* Ability to self-market to help drive business outcomes through LinkedIn and other social platforms.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Experience in account management, relationship management and networking.
* Demonstrated track record in building client relationships over a prolonged period.
* Experience in designing and executing growth strategies.
* Able to work in collaboration with colleagues with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing task and deadlines.
* Highly self-motivated, strong client focus with high level of presentation skills.
* Goal driven with experience working towards KPI and targets.
* Analytical skills, ability to collect and analyse data and information to develop growth strategies.
