Remuneration: $74,317.94 - $134,338.00 per annum (+ superannuation & salary packaging options)

About the role
The Youth Drug & Alcohol program is an assertive outreach service that provides youth‐focused responses and treatment options for individuals aged 12‐25 experiencing alcohol and other drug use. The program works in partnership with families/carers and aims to reduce harm by using a multi‐disciplinary, evidence‐based, trauma‐informed, culturally safe and responsive service delivery model.
Responsibilities
* Professionally support youth and families seeking assistance with alcohol and drug use
* Apply a trauma‐informed approach and provide respectful, person‐centred care tailored to individual needs
* Develop and implement individualized, holistic care plans addressing the physical, emotional and social aspects of each person's journey
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated services
* Utilize evidence‐based interventions and innovative skills to promote recovery and well‐being
* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant policies and regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered or qualified in Dietetics, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Welfare, Nursing, Midwifery, Psychology or Senior Psychology
* Demonstrated experience in drug and alcohol, or mental health, working with young people aged 12‐25
* Trauma‐informed practice and culturally safe care are essential
* Strong communication, coordination, and problem‐solving skills
