Lifewood is not a volume flooring company.
We specialise in premium lifetime natural timber flooring systems for high-end residential and boutique commercial projects across Western Australia.
Our founder has spent the last 24 years developing world-class lifetime timber flooring technology, including patented Stabilised Solid and Natures Steel systems — products engineered specifically for clients who value genuine craftsmanship, long-term performance, and architectural quality over commodity flooring.
Australian owned and operated, Lifewood has built its reputation within the premium end of the market, working alongside architects, interior designers, custom builders, and discerning clients seeking something above the standard flooring industry offering.
We are now looking for a mature, experienced operator from the flooring, architectural finishes, interiors, or building products industry to help position Lifewood deeper into the Architectural & Design market.
This role is not suited to junior BDMs or transactional salespeople.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone who already has established relationships and credibility within:
* You understand the difference between commodity flooring and premium architectural flooring.
* You know how specification works.
* You know how to get products in front of the right people.
* You know how to position premium products without competing on price.
About the Role
Your focus will be to:
* Build and strengthen relationships within the A&D community
* Increase specification opportunities for Lifewood flooring systems
* Position Lifewood as a premium alternative to typical commercial flooring products
* Work closely with architects, designers and builders on high-end projects
* Open strategic opportunities within the luxury residential and boutique commercial markets
* Represent a premium product with genuine technical differentiation
This is a relationship-driven role, not a high-volume sales role.
Our projects are selective, design-led, and quality-focused.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in specification sales / A&D sales within flooring, architectural finishes, interiors, cabinetry, surfaces, or related construction products
* Strong existing relationships within the WA architectural and design community
* Experience working with premium or luxury products
* Strong understanding of construction and specification processes
* Commercial maturity and professional presentation
* The ability to operate autonomously and strategically
* Long-term relationship-building capability
You must be capable of opening doors and creating opportunities at a senior level.

* Junior sales reps
* Generic retail salespeople
* High-volume transactional sales backgrounds
* Candidates without existing industry relationships
* Candidates looking for an entry point into construction sales
