The Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you'll be a key part of the pre-contracts team, preparing accurate estimates and tenders for complex electrical infrastructure and construction projects. You'll draw on your trade background and technical knowledge to develop cost-effective solutions, assess drawings and specifications, and contribute to winning high-quality projects that drive the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for infrastructure and construction projects.
* Review drawings, specifications, and scope documentation to identify risks and opportunities.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical input.
* Work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure accurate costing and buildable solutions.
* Maintain and update estimating systems, databases, and supplier relationships.
* Support value engineering and commercial decision-making throughout the bid process.
What You Bring
* Electrical trade qualification (Electrician or similar).
* Experience in estimating electrical projects within construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methodologies.
* Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel.
* Attention to detail, commercial acumen, and strong communication skills.
