Stella Industrial is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of our business. This role requires someone who takes ownership of their work, maintains strong financial records and can work independently and as part of a team.
This is a part-time / 5 days a week role with work hour flexibility. This will be an office-based role reporting directly to the managing director with a full support team in place.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Accounts Payable entries and reconciliations
* Manage Accounts Receivable entries and reconciliations
* Process invoices, payments and receipts
* Perform bank reconciliations
* Maintain accurate financial records through Xero
* Assist with payroll processing
* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, liaising with the finance team
* Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies
* Maintain the general ledger and journals in partnership with the finance team
* Support month-end and year-end processes
About You
* Proven experience in bookkeeping with a relevant qualification
* Experienced with using Xero
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
* You take ownership of your own work and work collaboratively with the greater team
