This is a Recruitment Pool for permanent, full-time positions working 76 hours per fortnight. WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility and requires criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31 December 2026.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Other Conditions: WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking. You may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Position Profile: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Assessment and Treatment Team of the Adult Community Mental Health service. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services through advanced clinical practice. The successful candidate will plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate care to ensure patient safety and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the delivery of Occupational Therapy interventions using advanced clinical skills
* Overseeing the safety and quality of patient care
* Supervising Occupational Therapy and support staff within the clinical area
* Coordinating team duties and managing staff performance
