**Disability Support Worker Role**
We are seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to support adult NDIS participants in SILs and respite services across Bundaberg and surrounding suburbs.
The role involves supporting individuals with personal activities, including hygiene support, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic assistance, and meals.
* Assist participants with engaging in community, social, and recreational activities following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP).
* Support people within both group settings and one-on-one arrangements.
* Use a company vehicle or own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.
Requirements:
* A certificate III in individual support or relevant qualification.
* 12 months paid experience supporting people in SILs with physical and intellectual disabilities.
* Australian driver's license.
* First aid certification.
* CPR certification.
* NDIS worker screening check.
* Working with children check (blue card) for paid employment.
* National police check obtained within the last six months or willing to apply.
* NDIS worker orientation module.
* A reliable smartphone with data.
