The role
Join us as Principal Environment and Development Planner, where you'll drive approvals for renewable energy projects, lead stakeholder engagement, mentor a high-performing team, and deliver sustainable, high-quality projects that make a real impact on Australia's clean energy future
Responsibilities
- Manage planning and environmental approvals across all government levels, coordinating consultants and delivering technical assessments.
- Build solid relationships and mentor junior team members, supporting project development through guidance and industry expertise.
- Manage and report project budgets, ensuring cost control and compliance with company governance.
- Lead stakeholder engagement with regulators, indigenous groups, and consultants, driving clear communication and strong relationships.
Skills & Qualifications
- Solid experience and understanding of Project Development in the renewables space.
- Strong knowledge of Australian development and environmental regulations.
- Skilled in stakeholder and regulatory authority engagement on complex issues.
- Established leadership skills together with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
