This is an opportunity to join a high-performing insurance building team, responsible for assessing damage, preparing accurate scopes and estimates, and ensuring repair works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
You'll work closely with insurers, customers, and internal teams, balancing technical building knowledge with strong communication and commercial awareness!
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct site assessments and prepare scopes, reports, and estimates
* Manage variations, scope changes, and project documentation
* Liaise with insurers, clients, and internal stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with insurer KPIs, WHS requirements, and company standards
* Provide timely customer updates and maintain strong service levels
* Support team initiatives, peer reviews, and CAT/event response activities as required
About You
* Trade background or qualification in Building & Construction (or similar)
* Experience in estimating, insurance repairs, or building diagnostics
* Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction
* Ability to assess damage and prepare accurate scopes and estimates
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
* Current driver's licence and willingness to undertake site inspections
Nice to Have
* Certificate IV in Building & Construction
* Knowledge of insurance claims processes and workflows
* Experience with estimating software within the insurance sector (e.g. PRIMEor similar)
* WHS or safety systems experience
