The Product Trainer plays a key role, supporting the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for the Property & Rating product suite. This role is focused on helping internal teams and customers confidently use the Property & Rating solution within Local Council environments.
Working within the Product Enablement team and reporting to the Learning & Capability Manager, you'll partner closely with Product, Implementation, and Support teams to design and deliver engaging, practical training that supports successful product adoption and long-term capability uplift.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering learning programs that help users understand and apply the Property & Rating product effectively in real-world Local Council settings.
You will:
* Collaborate with Product teams across the development lifecycle to design training aligned to new and existing Property & Rating functionality
* Develop and deliver training across multiple formats including instructor‐led sessions, self‐paced eLearning, certification programs, quick reference guides, and user walkthroughs
* Develop engaging learning content such as videos, infographics, presentations, workbooks, simulations, and interactive eLearning modules
* Create assessments, quizzes, and practical activities to reinforce learning and validate user competency
* Build a strong, hands‐on understanding of the Property & Rating product and its application within Local Government revenue and property management processes
* Support configuration and maintenance of training environments, including realistic data setup aligned to council scenarios
* Review learning analytics and user feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness and adoption outcomes
* Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce complexity, and improve learner experience
Your Skills...
You'll bring a mix of product understanding, learning design capability, and strong stakeholder engagement skills, ideally with exposure to Local Government or Property & Rating systems.
You'll need:
* Experience working with enterprise software, ideally Local Government systems or Property & Rating solutions
* Understanding of Local Council processes, revenue management, or similar regulatory billing environments (highly regarded)
* Ability to design structured learning outcomes, curriculum, and assessments for diverse learner groups
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences including council staff and technical users
* Strong collaboration skills and experience working with Product, Implementation, and Support teams
* A proactive mindset focused on improving training effectiveness, user adoption, and learning outcomes
* Willingness to work hands‐on with systems to build deep product expertise and real‐world context
* Comfort working with evolving technology and learning tools to enhance training delivery
* Formal qualification in Training and Assessment or Learning Design
* Knowledge of learning design principles, instructional methodologies, and blended learning approaches
* Experience in Local Government, Property & Rating, or enterprise billing systems
* Exposure to SaaS product training or customer enablement environments
