Role Description
This is a full-time, in office role for an Early Childhood Educator based in Bondi Beach, NSW. The Early Childhood Educator will plan and deliver age‑appropriate educational activities, foster a supportive and inclusive environment, and ensure the safety and well‑being of children. Additional responsibilities include observing and documenting developmental progress, engaging with families to provide updates, and contributing to the overall operation of the centre in line with Australia’s childcare standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in early childhood education and curriculum planning
- Skills in child observation, developmental assessment, and progress documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and staff
- Understanding of health, safety, and regulatory childcare practices
- Ability to foster creativity, social development, and a love of learning in young children
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in Early Childhood Education (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree)
- Working with Children Check clearance and up‑to‑date First Aid certification
- Experience in a similar role and a passion for the care and development of children
