Time type: Full time; Worker type: Employee; Location: Sydney; Type: Permanent, full-time hybrid role, happy to talk flexible working.
Responsibilities
* Support end-to-end quarterly reserving process.
* Support statutory reporting deliverables including APRA submissions, Actuarial Valuation Report and Financial Condition Report.
* Support IFRS 17 process including General Measurement Model updates.
* Support other ad-hoc analysis, including pricing model and capital model review.
* Identify opportunities to improve existing process.
* Provide guidance to junior analysts.
* Build relationships with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or progress in General Insurance Part III.
* Industry experience in General Insurance or banking is essential.
* Strong MS Excel, SAS and R programming skills.
* Ability to communicate analysis and findings to a wide range of stakeholders.
