What does the job look like?
Our Intermodal Business Unit has a casual opportunity for an experienced HR Driver to join the team in Townsville, QLD. In this role, you will complete local and regional runs, delivering a variety of freight to customer stores and sites. Freight will be unloaded either by forklift or manually with the support of an offsider. This is a day shift position, working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm, with the potential for overtime on weekdays and weekends.
Key responsibilities
* Drive the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus
* Comply with the Linfox coupling and uncoupling procedures and the ability to work unsupervised
* Able to assist in loading and unloading when required
* Maintain good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
* Communicate effectively with team members, managers and customers on a day-to-day basis
