About the Position
Seeking timber mill operators to join the team at the Koolkhan timber mill, near Grafton on a casual basis. The role involves warehousing and machine operation, including stacking, wrapping, strapping and grading of timber products. The position requires immediate availability for day shifts starting at 6 a.m., and involves ongoing work with timber and ad‐hoc plant duties to ensure smooth operation of the Koolkhan site.
Key Responsibilities
* Ongoing work with timber including grading, stacking, sorting and strapping.
* Ad‐hoc plant duties to ensure smooth running of operations.
* Inventory management.
* Continually maintain a clean and tidy work area.
About You
* Strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
* Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling is highly desirable.
* Positive attitude, reliability, punctuality and focus on quality of work.
* Demonstrated experience of successfully working in a team.
* Physically fit and able to manually handle various sized timber sections.
