Senior Triage Disability Adviser
As a Senior Triage Disability Advisor at Monash University, you will support the Disability Support Services by coordinating triage, administrative support and providing guidance to students throughout intake and registration processes.
Responsibilities
* Assess student-submitted medical documentation to ensure it meets registration requirements and provide guidance on additional information.
* Allocate cases through a triage system considering case complexity and adviser workload, ensuring urgent matters are prioritised and escalated appropriately.
* Guide students through registration processes, maintain accurate and compliant records, and provide responsive administrative support via phone and email.
* Manage a caseload of students requiring disability support, coordinate appointments, contribute to project delivery, and collaborate with colleagues across Monash.
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills with proven ability to develop and implement effective processes and manage competing priorities.
* Strong commitment to customer service, independent and collaborative working, sound judgement and initiative.
* Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and resolve issues effectively.
* Strong computer literacy.
* Solid understanding of disability documentation and compliance requirements, with experience assessing disability impacts within relevant legislative frameworks.
