Overview
We are partnering with a leading IT services provider specialising in enterprise support for major mining and corporate clients. Their focus is on delivering world-class IT solutions and support that enable businesses to operate securely, efficiently, and reliably.
Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on IT professional to join a high-performing support team. The successful candidate will provide L2/L3 support to enterprise customers, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 and associated systems, as well as server and virtualization platforms. This role offers exposure to a diverse technology stack and the chance to make a real impact across multiple large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise customers, focusing on reliability and performance.
* Support the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender, Exchange Online, and other related tools.
* Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Administer and support virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix.
* Maintain and monitor backup solutions, primarily Veeam, ensuring business continuity.
* Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve incidents, implement improvements, and optimise IT operations.
* Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and general IT projects.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in L2/L3 support within enterprise environments.
* Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Defender.
* Solid experience with Windows Servers, VMware/Hyper-V, Nutanix, and Veeam.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in complex IT environments.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
* Experience supporting clients in mining or other enterprise industries is highly desirable.
