With a growing ANZ presence and a pipeline of significant government and health system opportunities already in motion, the organisation is now investing in building a dedicated ANZ commercial leadership capability. This is an opportunity to join at the inflection point - before the footprint is established - and to shape what the ANZ business becomes. About the Role This is a permanent, full-time role for an exceptional health technology commercial leader to build and lead the ANZ sales function for a respected international digital health organisation. You will serve as the primary commercial architect for the ANZ market, leading major government and health system opportunities, setting commercial strategy, and coordinating a growing team of local and above-country commercial resources to execute it. You'll be shaping a greenfields role, backed by a pipeline including major government procurement processes already underway, an established ANZ subsidiary with existing client relationships, and the full backing of a global commercial organisation that has successfully delivered at scale internationally. This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll be personally winning business while building the ANZ commercial function around you. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the ANZ commercial strategy across the full product portfolio - identifying, prioritising and executing on the highest-value market opportunities in Australia and New Zealand
* Personally lead major government and health system sales opportunities from relationship development through to tender response, negotiation and contract execution
* Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key ANZ buyers including state and territory health department executives, hospital CIOs and CDOs, procurement leads and clinical leadership
* Develop and own the ANZ go-to-market plan including account-based marketing strategy, target account prioritisation and pipeline development
* Establish proactive buyer engagement ahead of formal procurement processes - positioning the organisation favourably before RFPs are published
* Build, develop and lead a growing ANZ commercial team over time as the market and pipeline mature
* Provide accurate pipeline forecasting, reporting and market intelligence to ANZ and global leadership
* Represent the organisation at industry forums, conferences and government health sector events
Skills & Experience (Mandatory)
* Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level commercial activity in digital health, health IT or healthcare technology - a track record of winning major, complex deals is essential
* Deep experience with Australian government health procurement processes - you have navigated RFI, RFT and EOI processes and know how health departments and hospital systems buy
* Proven ability to build and manage relationships at the most senior levels - health department executives, hospital CEOs and CIOs, clinical leads and procurement panels
* Experience leading commercially as well as strategically - personally driving opportunities while building the function around you
* Comfortable in a greenfields or early-stage commercial environment - able to build pipeline, process and strategy with limited local infrastructure
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop go-to-market strategy, account plans and accurate long-range forecasts
* Experience working with international vendors or parent organisations - comfortable bridging ANZ market requirements with global-headquartered support teams
* MBA or equivalent business qualification desirable
