Offer description

Help to plant trees in Kwinana, WA! (Next event: June 14)

Conservation Volunteers, in partnership with Chevron Australia and the City of Kwinana, will be working together to revegetate three important suburban Reserves within Kwinana.

We will be planting 2,700 native seedlings this year to create Urban Shade Forests in Kwinana, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about our environment, while spending the day with like‐minded people, working together to create Urban Shade Forests!

We will be running events from May - June 2026.

What will I be doing on the day?

All of our events begin with a safety induction and training from a CVA Team Leader. As part of the day, you will work under the supervision of our friendly team to help plant native species within urban parks and reserves. You may also have the opportunity to take part in other activities such as weed removal, litter collection and data collection. Events generally last 3-4 hours and you can sign up for as many events as you like.

What skills or experience do I need?

No prior experience is necessary! Our Team Leaders will provide volunteers with safety inductions and training in the activity. A can do attitude and willingness to work with others are all the skills you need to be a Conservation Volunteer.

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:

* Once you send through your application via Seek, we will be in touch with registration details. Spaces are limited and they do fill up!
* No previous experience is required. We will provide you with all the know-how on site.
* You need to make your own way to and from the project site. We do not offer transport.
* We can provide you with a certificate of appreciation for coming along and helping out (this looks great on a resume!).
