Our Team is committed to supporting people living with a disability to access services that maximise opportunities for participation, reduce the need to use behaviours of concern, and improve quality of life.
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant area; allied health, disability, behaviour, or a associated field.
* Registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at a core level or higher or an ability to obtain quickly.
* Demonstrated experience in delivering disability focused services, with the ability to collaborate strategically with other providers to achieve positive participant and service outcomes.
* Relevant experience in providing disability related assessments including but not limited to undertaking positive behaviour assessments.
* Proficiency in understanding restrictive practices and the ability to develop plans aimed at reducing and eliminating such practices in accordance with applicable legislation and frameworks.
* NT Driver's licence or the ability to obtain.
* Post graduate study in relevant field related to social work, occupational therapy, psychology or the science of behaviour.
* Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
