About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Livestock Clerk to join our team at the Naracoorte Plant.
This role supports the livestock department with administrative tasks as well as hands-on coordination of livestock movements. You will work closely with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure livestock deliveries run smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurate data entry and record keeping of livestock deliveries
* Assist with the loading and unloading of cattle at the facility
* Liaise with producers, transporters, and processing teams
* Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
* Assist in scheduling and livestock logistics
* Provide administrative support to the team
About You:
* Previous experience in livestock handling, agriculture, or clerical work (highly regarded)
* Comfortable working around cattle and in outdoor conditions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal systems (training provided)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading livestock
* Q Fever vaccinated (or willing to get)
