Job Description
How you'll make a difference
* Lead the planning, design, and delivery of highways and road infrastructure design packages, including geometry, alignment, pavements, drainage interfaces, and civil works.
* Provide technical leadership by reviewing, checking, and approving engineering outputs such as calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and ensure integration of highways design with structures, drainage, traffic, geotechnical, and utilities teams.
* Support project delivery and governance, including technical risk management, Safety in Design, client engagement, and construction-phase support (RFIs and site queries).

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
* 5–10+ years of experience in highways or road infrastructure design and delivery.
* Strong knowledge of Australian standards and road authority requirements (e.g., Austroads, MRWA, TfNSW, TMR).
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent preferred, with experience mentoring engineers and supporting complex infrastructure projects.
