Responsibilities
As the lead of a software engineering team, you will provide innovative and high-value solutions to a variety of complex technical challenges for our customer to build and maintain various software systems. You will be involved in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) that includes planning, design, development, integration and testing, you will be frequently applying a broad range of tools and latest technologies, and exploring creative ways and new approaches to implementing software solutions.
* Lead and govern Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) implementation across multiple teams and stakeholders
* Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between development, QA, BA, architecture, platform, and integration teams
* Oversee delivery, performance, and accountability of multiple software development teams
* Engage with internal and customer stakeholders to align technical and business requirements
* Drive software design, development, integration, deployment, and software quality practices
* Contribute to technical documentation, roadmap planning, data modelling, R&D, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
* Proven experience in a senior engineering or project delivery environment
* Strong ability to analyse, interpret, and document business and non-functional requirements
* Experience with Low Code application development platforms and Agile/Kanban methodologies
* Expertise in system integration technologies, including REST, SOAP, messaging, ESRI, and open-source customization
* Hands‐on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, and Confluence
* Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum of TSPV security clearance
