We are currently seeking a dedicated Operator Recreation Facilities Attendant to join our team.
As an Operator Recreation Facilities Attendant you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing parks, gardens, and recreational areas to ensure they remain accessible and enjoyable for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain assigned plant effectively, safely and in accordance with standing operating procedures.
* Ensure compliance with Council's WHS policies and with legislative requirements or regulations.
* Perform general mowing maintenance required to maintain Council's parks and reserves, including operation of mowers, small plant and hand tools, and applying basic grounds maintenance principles, systems and processes.
* Work constructively and cooperatively with other members of the department to complete work programs in accordance with agreed timeframes and standards.
* Apply WHS and risk management systems in accordance with Council's policies and procedures.
* Complete assigned administrative tasks accurately and in accordance with Council's policies and procedures.
* Maintain required qualifications essential for the position and undertake agreed training to meet the position's desired skill level.
* Participate in on-call duties as required.
Key Requirements
* An appropriate Cert III qualification or willingness to undertake professional development, or 3 years' experience in a relevant field.
* Drivers licence HR or willingness to obtain.
* WHS Construction Induction Certificate.
