Job Description We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using the .NET framework and AWS cloud services.
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions using .NET and AWS technologies.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement and integrate web services, APIs, and microservices to enable seamless communication between applications.
Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda to build and deploy cloud‑based applications.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices in software development and cloud computing.
Qualifications
Proficiency in .NET framework and related technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET).
Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
Strong programming skills and knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS).
Commercial years of experience in software development using .NET and AWS.
Familiarity with front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL Server, NoSQL) and web services/APIs.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with in‑memory databases (Redis), message queues (RabbitMQ), relational (PostgreSQL) and non‑relational (Elasticsearch) databases, SpecFlow/Reqnroll BDD/Gherkin test automation frameworks.
AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification (preferred).
Knowledge of cloud architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker), and DevOps practices is a plus.
Solid analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
