About The Role
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and the broader healthcare team to provide safe, respectful, and patient‐centred care. You will contribute to maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and wellbeing while supporting daily clinical operations across a multipurpose health service setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care
* Support nursing staff in delivering high‐quality patient care
* Observe, report, and respond appropriately to patient needs and changes in condition
* Maintain accurate communication with patients, families, and team members
* Contribute positively to a safe, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture
* Respond calmly and effectively in emergency or crisis situations
* Promote patient dignity, confidentiality, and emotional wellbeing
Essential Selection Criteria
Applicants Must Meet One Of The Following Qualifications:
* Hold a Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing, or
* Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree with:
* Completion of first year and first semester/trimesters of second year, or
* Be currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing with:
* Completion of identified foundational practice units.
