Due to strong growth in our business, we are currently looking for a Machine Control Support Technician to join our team in our Osborne Park headquarters.
The role:
The position forays into the ever-changing field of data communications and challenges you to think outside the box to provide solutions for customer's requirements, issues, and Trimble machine control operational training needs. This role provides technical support to Sitech WA clients including Operator Training, troubleshooting and diagnostic support over the phone, remote support or on site support.
Responsibilities:
* Remote or on-site troubleshooting, service breakdown and support of Trimble systems.
* Commissioning of GPS systems in heavy machinery & light vehicles.
* Installation and commissioning of GPS Base stations & Total Stations.
* Providing system training to client operators & supervisors.
* Data management.
* Records management of completed works, systems and parts.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Knowledge or exposure to Trimble systems and products - Essential.
* Experience of correction-based GPS systems.
* Experience with Total Stations, their functionality & use.
* Proficient computing skills and/or networking basics.
* Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment & autonomously.
* Willingness to learn new technologies.
* Ability to travel to remote locations as required.
