About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Structural and Pest Inspector to carry out detailed property inspections and deliver clear, professional reports. This role suits someone who understands Australian Standards and takes pride in delivering high quality work.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct building and pest inspections across residential and commercial properties
* Identify structural defects, timber damage, and termite or pest activity
* Ensure compliance with AS 4349.1, AS 4349.2, AS 4349.3
* Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports for clients
* Communicate findings with clients, agents, and stakeholders
* Provide practical recommendations and compliance guidanceReview plans and specifications where required
Requirements
* Diploma in Building Construction
* Certificate III in Urban Pest Management
* Must hold current WA Pest Management Technician Licence registration at time of application
* Minimum 5 years experience in building and pest inspections
* Demonstrated experience in both building structural inspections and pest inspection services is essential
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and building regulations
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload
* Valid driver licence and reliable vehicle
