Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Construction Director to lead our fit-out and refurbishment business operations.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a senior leader in the construction industry, with experience in fit-out and/or refurbishment. They will be responsible for developing a capable project delivery team, building strong pipelines of work, and leveraging existing client relationships to generate repeat and referral opportunities.
In addition to their leadership skills, the ideal candidate will possess a commercial mindset, with a proven track record of delivering profitable projects. They will also be a strategic thinker with a balanced understanding of opportunities and risks in business and construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage fit-out and refurbishment business operations.
* Develop a capable project delivery team.
* Build strong pipelines of work securing new business within and beyond fit-out/refurbishment sector.
* Leverage existing client relationships to generate repeat and referral opportunities.
* Ensure projects are delivered to highest standards of quality, safety and profitability.
Requirements
* Proven track record as senior leader in construction industry with fit-out and/or refurbishment experience.
* Strong client relationships and deep knowledge of Melbourne construction market.
* Current builder's license.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams develop talent and foster high-performance culture.
* Business development acumen with history of winning work and contributing revenue growth.
