The Opportunity & How You Will Make An Impact
Kick‑start your career in a role that offers variety, learning and the chance to work on real projects from day one. We are looking for a motivated graduate to join our Generalist Valuations team in Perth, where you will gain experience across a broad mix of industries including residential, commercial, industrial, retail and leisure properties. You will assist senior valuers with inspections, reports and valuation models, while also contributing to non‑valuation consultancy work. Our clients range from private owners to major institutions, giving you exposure to a wide mix of property sectors and market drivers. We will support you through your API qualification pathway, including becoming a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV). Whether you are fresh out of university or in your first/second year as a graduate, you will have the opportunity to learn, take on responsibility and grow your skills in a collaborative team. This is the perfect role if you want hands‑on experience, a broad mix of work and the chance to make an impact early in your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with team members to deliver outstanding service to internal and external clients.
- Escalating matters to senior staff to ensure the best outcomes.
- Building connections with peers in other business units to share knowledge and insights.
- Joining qualified Valuers on property inspections to gain hands‑on experience.
- Conducting online title and town planning searches to support project work.
- Reviewing and summarising lease documentation with attention to detail.
- Researching and analysing investment and development transactions.
- Gathering and interpreting market data on property sales and rentals.
- Maintaining and updating sales and rental databases.
- Undertaking financial analysis and cash flow modelling to support valuations.
- Preparing transparent, well‑structured written advice and presentations.
About You
- Completed a relevant tertiary course.
- Proven skills in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Effective report writing skills desirable.
