Key Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related discipline is essential.
* Proven experience in environmental management or planning within the mining industry or state significant developments within NSW relative to heavy industry is preferred.
* A strong understanding of NSW and Commonwealth planning, mining, and environmental legislation is vital.
* Experience in managing consultants, project budgets, and schedules is desirable.
* Excellent community and stakeholder engagement skills for environmental approvals are necessary.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
* A commitment to safety and continuous improvement is expected.
* A valid manual driver's license is required.
